We are invited to a house warming this weekend. It's for one of Art's CW. I have no idea how they have decorated their house. Any suggestions on a house warming gift?
Re: House Warming Gift
Do they drink? YOu could always do a bottle of wine or a favorite six pack.
This is a good one too!
My first thought was a bottle of some kind... wine, liquor. But unless you're close with them, you won't know what they drink.
Or if they're recovering alcoholic.
I'd go for a gift card.
This...this this this.
I can't tell you how many trips we take to Home Depot in a month. Plus if their house is already fixed up, they have a ton of gardening stuff to get.
oh so true, never thought of that!
The last few we went to we took shower heads... totally random but they were all DH's friends and it is a bit of an ongoing joke.
I say gift card. Or wine. Or flowers. Or most people can use another pie dish... you could get a fancy one or something.
We never had an official housewarming party...just parties. Oh well, we never really had one, but we've randomly found surprise gifts from our friends - gift cards from Home Depot/Target/Williams-Sonoma/BB&B or a nice restaurant, nice beer bottles, bottles of wine and champagne were always brought over if it was their first visit to the house.
Something nice, I'd love a nice vase for flowers, too.
