Low key exercises after surgery?
Hi hi hi
does anyone have suggestions for low key exercises that can be done after a surgery in the core muscles/torso area? I'm sure I can google, but I thought I would ask anyway

I recently had a surgery but I'm totally fine now. The thing is, since I've been resting a lot, I've also gained some weight =(
I want to start losing inches and toning up, but I can't over exert myself or do anything too strenuous....
any ideas what I can do in the meantime? Tia!

Re: Low key exercises after surgery?
Jenn - pilates and yoga are really good for the core and are not strenuous. If you can't go to the gym, you can get exercise dvds. Check On Demand as well.
Planks/side planks are good too ;-).
I am sorry you had to have surgery. I'd ask your doctor for sure, but I'd thinking walking wouldn't be too bad unless you need to keep your heart rate down. And maybe some "sit and be fit" type or resistance band strengthening exercises before you're cleared for regular activities.
