I'm getting anxious for our move to Hawaii in August, so I've been looking at houses online. The problem is I'm not sure where I should be looking. DH is going to be stationed near Schofield Barracks. I don't have a job lined up yet, but I am hoping to be working in the same area. We would prefer a commute no more than 30 minutes on a typical day. We're looking for a rental home with 3 or 4 bedrooms for around $2500.
So which neighborhoods should we look into? Which ones should we avoid. And can anyone recommend a realtor/rental company?
TIA!
Re: Where to live?
Me, too! We love Mililani. Here are a few links for you:
Rental Properties in Central Oahu (close proximity to Schofield)
Woodstock Properties Inc (We've worked with Dusty Woodstock a few times. She was even at our wedding.)
Eva Robello (Eva is a friend of my mom. She just helped my next door neighbor sell their townhouse. They were very pleased with her.)
I'll post more if I think of anything else. GL!
ETA: I'm going to send you a PM in a minute.
Thanks, I just responded to your PM.
I just replied back.
And I just answered you. The Nest needs to come with something to notify someone when they get a private message!
