I need help please ladies! I know (from a pp) that everyone on here has mixed views about sex & the city, but I love it. I am so excited about the 2nd movie (I hope it lives up to the hype). It comes out the day after my birthday next week so we are having a sex & the city party for my bday. We are getting dolled up and having pink cocktails and playing pin the penis on the man (haha a bachelorette party game we found) and then going out to see movie 2.
Here is my problem...I have no idea what to wear!!! My budget does not include miu miu & louboutin its more like target and payless. I have some really cute shoes (although brandless) so I am planning on wearing one of those pair since thats Carrie's big thing, shoes. But what about an outfit? A dress, jeans and a top? I don't have to look like I'm from the movie but I just can't get any cute ideas. Thoughts??? What would you wear to a S&C themed party?

I say wear a dark pair of jeans with the purple shoes and a cute black or purple off the shoulder top and some dangly layered necklaces or chunky earrings and a cocktail ring. Or even a top like this:
