Just about walked out on my job today
I am totally never about saying you hate someone but after today, I'm not so sure. I usually love my job except for the psycho/bio-polar owner who only is in good moods when she's drinking wine. She is 73 and I feel bad for saying this but she is seriously evil! Long story short, she didn't like the way I was trying to help one of our reps, ripped the phone out of my hand and proceeded to yell at me. Not raise her voice but yell. She yells at our warehouse guys all of the time but not usually me.
I'm PMSing so of course makes it worse and I could feel the tears coming. You know how you get so mad it just makes you cry. She then yells oh yeah go ahead and cry I don't care. I asked if she could not raise her voice and she says I'm the owner, I can do whatever I f-ing want. It went on for like 5 mins. Surprisingly, I kept calm the whole time, except for the crying, lol. I decide it's time to take my break and smoke before I just walk out. Fast forward to tonight and she is acting fine, no apology, nothing.
This crazy lady says she selling the company at the end of the month and wont be in the office anymore, please say it's true. I really love my job but will not put up with that BS. I'm sorry, just needed to vent. After working around beer all day, defiantly having a few tonight

Your boss and my BIL are exactly alike. He does similar things to some of the employees at my IL's shop. Ted's parents expect him (ted) to drop everything and go back to working there when they retire, so he can run it with his brother. Long story short: I told Ted I will never support him doing that because I think his brothers temper & mouth are serious liabilities. I know each state has their own laws, but I think if the employees at my IL's shop were smarter they could seriously screw my IL's & BIL.
There's just no excuse for that kind of behavior. I'm sorry Lisa ((hugs))
