Holy Batman, Grey's!(spoilers included)

I can't believe last night's episode. I was really disappointed in Meredith's outcome. They can't let her be happy, huh? Anybody else have thoughts on last night?

  • It was intense!

My heart was racing. I thought the episode was great but am confused as to where they will go next year. Thankfully it doesn't seem like they're going to loose any of the "main" characters which is a plus in my book....I like the original characters!

  • That was a great show! I cried so many times and yelled out "No not Bailey!" I really wanted to smack that dingbat that's Chief McDreamy's assistant.

  • Ugh!!!  Frickin April I wanted to smack her as well!   I feel bad for poor Dr Sloan, he genuinely loves Lexi...

What is hilarious to me is friends of ours invited DH and I to a concert last night and DH was like "nooo Grey's is on!"   He is so addicted now *evil laugh*

  • It was definitely intense.  I hated that Mer miscarried, but then I read Shonda Rimes' blog post on the episode on http://www.greyswriters.com/ and I do get why she did it.  I can't believe she considered having Bailey get shot.  I totally want to rent the Season DVD when it comes out, so I can see the additional 18 minutes!

I do have to say, though, that I didn't buy much of the 2nd half.  I didn't buy that the sniper shot Mr. Clark, and then didn't go after him and didn't realize he had gotten away.  I understand that the story was not told from the point of view of the SWAT team but I feel like there needed to be some acknowledgment of the fact that they'd seen him, shot him, and he somehow got away.  I'm also not sure I buy that in a city the size of Seattle they would only send 5 SWAT team members to search a huge hospital floor-by-floor.  They really don't have more people?
