At what point should I hang up the phone?
On hold with British Airways for 1 hour, 10 mins. now. They apparently reinstated the leg of my flight that was cancelled last week so I'm trying to get back on it. Would be easier than running over to another terminal to catch the Olympic Air flight they had switched us to.
I'd rather be rock climbing or playing volleyball

Re: At what point should I hang up the phone?
You have been holding for an hour? Wow, you have more patience than me. I would have given it 20 minutes then when I got an operator when I called back I would refuse to hold since they already had me on hold for 20 minutes.
I hope you are on speaker phone at least! My neck would be hurting by now.
Whenever I'm on hold for more than a few minutes, I totally forget why I'm calling. Good luck!
It helps when you're dialing on a work phone with a headset and just doing other stuff while you're waiting.
Just got through to an agent, 1 hour, 24 min. into waiting. No use hanging up and calling back because the call volume is stupid high right now due to the BA strikes I mentioned before. This was a dedicated line for people who had to deal with strike-affected disruptions, but first come, first served.
This trip better be worth all this hassle!
Ha, I did actually call the regular reservation line from my cell phone as well and just as that hold music got started, the land line picked up. One phone in each ear, both with music going....
