My week in review
So this has been a CRAZY week for me, I'm so glad it's almost over! First on Wednesday I ended up in the ER for a total of 5 hrs. I had a temp of 102, horrible stomach pains and the shakes (it was so bad I thought I was having a seizure) I was given tons of meds and stayed on an IV for a few hrs. Turns out I have an infection in my intestines. Now I'm on a liquid diet and have to go to the gastroenterologist for further tests.
Unfortunately, I'm going to get a huge bill, b/c I don't have insurance. My former company messed up my paperwork and sent it to my old address and sent it late at that. Now I can't be added to DH's insurance. We have been dealing with this for almost a month now.
Well Thursday morning I woke up to a fedex package at the door. Huge score...my former company changed the date on my insurance papers so now I can be added to DH's insurance. (It was actually illegal what they did and DH's HR informed them we could sue, thus the sudden change of heart)
And of the best news of the day...I got a job! It's not exactly what I was looking for, as it is commisson only, but it's the type of work I wanted to do AND I still get to keep my unemployment, until business picks up and I'm making money. So I figured I may as well try it out as I have nothing to lose.
Whew...sorry if this is all over the place. I'm still a bit loopy and my thoughts are all over the place right now.

Although your week started badly, I'm glad it's turned around for you. That's great that the insurance kicked in. Perfect timing too. Although lots could have been avoided if the did it right in the first place. And congratulations on the job!
