Master's Augusta GA Has Anyone Been?
MH and I are planning to go to the 2011 Masters Tournament, just wondering if anyone here has gone or lived in the area? I know MH will want to be there on Sunday at the 18th hole for sure, but I have been unsuccessful finding info online how to secure a spot (or 2!) at the 18th. Pretty sure gen adm tickets don't get you on that green! I know I can post on the GA board or travel board, but I don't veer from here at all. Hell, I am come and go on here as it is.
BTW, I am glad to see that the BR posts have moved to the Bump. I was staying away from TN because the posts were usually of little interest to me. Will make an effort to be here more often.
Re: Master's Augusta GA Has Anyone Been?
The Memorial Tournament is local for us, so we've been a few times, sometimes with Clubhouse passes and others with Gen Ad. Both times we were able to stand at the 18th green and had a decent view. The actual seating was full and I imagine it had been full since early morning - maybe part of that was restricted access, I couldn't tell.
But, the Memorial is definitely a smaller tournament. I hope someone who's actually been to the Masters can chime in and help you out. I'm sure you'll have an awesome time! I would love to go someday.
