Hello again! I was trying to post this question on The Bump, since it seems like most of the mamas/mamas-to-be have migrated over there, but when I click on the create post button, I keep getting directed to update my profile.
We're TTC so I just used the coupon code posted a while back for a conception combo pack (Thanks Nicole!!!). Then I started to think about finding more information that would help in our quest. What books or websites did you find invaluable in your efforts to conceive? I know that "Taking Charge of Your Fertility..." has been mentioned, but I wonder if there were any others that you would recommend.

Re: TTC research/information
me too, except i charted (temp only) for only 1 cycle before TTC. had 2 cycles off BCP before that where i didn't pay attention at all. after the 1 cycle of temp'ing, i realized how important it was to track CM, so i started doing that when we actually started TTC.
TCOYF tells you everything you need to know to determine when you're ovulating, when you're most fertile, etc. most of us used fertilityfriend.com to keep track of our charts - it's really easy, once you get used to the clunky interface. charting will help you understand what your body is doing and whether you might have trouble conceiving. i'd start there, then see how it goes!
good luck, and have fun
LOL! I forgot about Fertility Friend!
(I haven't been on it since the BFP.) I didn't go through any of the FF lessons or tutorials. I strictly used it to chart my fertility settings. I have a link to my chart in my siggy in case you want to see what it looks like.

When we were doing our pre-cana, we had to go to a Natural Family Planning class. Since my head wasn't on TTCing then, I really did not learn/remember much lol. When we were ready to TTC, I read the TCOYF book. I find it very helpful especially in getting to know your body more. I did not use Fertility Friend. I started recording my temp using the app on my phone called "My Days". I did not know until later that I already conceived even before I started charting so charting wasn't really of much use to me on that end! Charting did help me figure out that I am KU way before I missed my period since the temp won't go down.
The ladies have given you awesome advice! I also swear by TCOYF and FertilityFriend.com
Check out Pregosaur.com for all sorts of TTC ladies and what they're doing...there's recommendations in their posts all the time. Oh, and I swear by the ClearBlue Easy Fertility Monitor...it's awesome!
Good luck on your TTC journey...and come visit us on the Hawaii Babies board:

I freaking loved my OPKs (side note - the regular strips are way more sensitive than the digitals, even though the digitals are easier to read), so this is definitely one thing I'd have ignored from TCOYF.
