IPod's?

I am in the market for a new one... I have an old 2GB Nano from like 6 years ago. it just isnt big enough anymore. I was looking at the touches but not sure i need all the bells and whistles... though i would like them :) which one do you have? do you like it? would you trade it in?

Re: IPod's?

  • I have a Nano & iTouch. I love the iTouch, but probably because it is helping to tide me over until Verizon gets the iPhone. I really like being able to play videos & access Wi-Fi.

  • I have an old nano and an Itouch- i need them both!

I use my nano for working out and running, I have an arm band for that. THe i touch is too big for that, but I love all the other features of it.

  • When I hear people say that they don't need all the features of the iPod Touch, I'm reminded of how people use to say it ridiculous to pay so much for broadband internet access when their dial-up was just fine :p

It's not that you need it...but once you're exposed to it, it becomes something you're so glad you got. DH & I have iPhones, but I still use the touch at work all the time (we're not allowed to have camera phones at work). You have so much at your fingertips at all times - movie times, recipes, bank account info, email, pictures, music...everything.

Haha, ditto laud. And like another poster said, I'm using my iPod touch to tide me over until I can afford an iPhone (and the expensive monthly service that our grad student budget doesn't allow for right now Crying ). For the first few months that I had my touch, I didn't even put my music on it- I used it mostly for checking e.mail, playing games, and accessing the internet. I really, really like it.
