Our master bath has a shower stall so no curtain, but in our guest bath it's a white curtain with kanji characters embroidered on it. I've had it since before B and I met.

I had a reed diffuser but the scent was gone so nothing now.

What magazines/books are near your toilet? (if there are any) None. Seriously, reading in the bathroom is a HUGE pet peeve of mine.

Do you use any type of air freshener in your bathroom? If so, what kind/what scent? No. There is a can of Lysol 'clean linen' in there but it's not been used in years.

What magazines/books are near your toilet? (if there are any) none. DH keeps ESPN magazine in the cupboard of "his" bathroom.
What is sitting on top of the tank of your toilet? hmmm, nothing. Both bathrooms have an oddly placed towel rack right above the tank - they are under the cabinets that are above the toilets.
Do you use any type of air freshener in your bathroom? If so, what kind/what scent? we don't use any. Although the guest bathroom has a candle (not sure what scent - I picked it for the burnt orange color) that we light if we are having people over.
So... tell me about your shower curtain, or PIP. Did you or your hubs choose it? Ensuite - a gorgeous vintage Hawaiian adorned with Palm Trees and hung with bamboo hooks, that I actually got at Wal Mart. Guest bath - Stand up shower with clear glass doors.

Shower curtain - husband chose it and it's a bunch of squares that are in different shades of blue. It's really bright and geometric.
Magazines - Elle, Allure, Cosmo, ESPN

The mags and book are on top of the toilet.

We actually don't have one! Our master bath is a stall with a glass wall, and our guest bath has glass doors on the shower.
What magazines/books are near your toilet? (if there are any) None...we carry in as needed.
Side note to this: at the library where I work, we had a patron who had to pay for a replacement book because he'd dropped the copy he'd borrowed in the toilet. And yes, we talked about him and his reading-in-the-toilet habits at some length. So just FYI, if you take in a book, might want to make sure it's not one you borrowed lol.
What is sitting on top of the tank of your toilet? Nothing. Like a lot of Aussie toilets, the buttons used to flush are on top of the tank, so it doesn't really work to put stuff there.
Do you use any type of air freshener in your bathroom? If so, what kind/what scent? Yup - I like one called "Mountain Fresh" that basically just smells like clean air, but the hubs prefers florals...so we compromise with a citrus (lemon/lime/orange) scent.

We just got a bunch of brown and green towels from our wedding registry (gotta love late wedding gifts) so we picked a palm tree shower curtain. It has a brownish tint to it so it won't need to be cleaned as often.
What magazines/books are near your toilet? (if there are any) None... like Lisa said, we bring material in if necessary.

Do you use any type of air freshener in your bathroom? If so, what kind/what scent? I've always used either apple scents or a tropical scent. I like things feeling very fresh... bathroom is not a room I want to smell/feel "homey".

Master bath = glass doors, guest bath = white with white embroidered flowers. I had it in my old apartments before moving in here. It was my attempy to "girlify" the place just a little after a MH lived here for a year before me!
What magazines/books are near your toilet? (if there are any) I don't read any of them, but we keep out NatGeos there, and MH has some biking and photography mags. And catalogs like Pottery Barn and such.
What is sitting on top of the tank of your toilet? Nothing in any of the the bathrooms. They all have towel racks above the toilets.

All the bathrooms have a small thing of air freshener, but they were mostly chosen based on the color of the design on the can to match the bathroom (master = light blue, guest = sage green, powder room = apple red), rather than the actual scent!

Our shower has a glass door as well. The hallway bathroom has a curtain though. Mainly white with some different toned greens across the bottom.

We also carrying in, if we need. Mainly PEOPLE magazine and stuff from vendors (PB, VS, JCrew, C&B, etc.) MH mainly reads japanese manga (not just for kids in Japan i'm told!)

Our guest bathroom downstairs has one in. Its a plug-in from Febreze called "Hawaiian Delight." LOVE IT.

N/A - our shower came with glass doors. But it's a full length, like tub length with 2 seats and grip bars so I know I get the side-eye from anyone who looks in our bathroom - they probably think we are getting freaky in the shower. We bought our house from an elderly couple and it was probably easier for them to step in and have handles.

None - We have only one bathroom so we have a "no-camping policy" - no reading materials at all!

Some dusty greek olive oil soaps wrapped in pretty paper.

We have an exhaust fan but if needed, I have some tropical scented candles in a canister from Tommy Bahamas.

I bought it when we moved here. Our bathroom has two-toned blue tiles from the 50's (baby blue and a deeper, cobalt blue) with tan walls and white trim. We already had tan, yellow and green towels (my last bathroom was green and our shower curtain was white with embroidered palm trees on it) so I got a bright, striped shower curtain from Target to tie it altogether. It is cotton (we use a poly liner) and has both blue tones, tan, yellow, green, orange and red stripes in various widths.
What magazines/books are near your toilet? (if there are any)
A couple of random clothing catalogs as well as Smithsonian, Food and Wine and Parenting.

We have limited storage so we have an over-the-toilet hutch thing. On it we have a plant as well as random toiletries like contact solution, make-up remover, etc. On top of the tank itself are the magazines and a seashell-embellished and rattan facial tissue holder.

We have lysol as well as some scented candles. I usually just get whatever candle is green...usually pear, melon or apple scented. We also have nag champa incense...my mom likes to burn it when she bathes.
