I'm pumped.
So I figured out Hunter's first birthday party theme a few weeks ago (I know, its 5 months away, but I'm a planner). I am stealing the idea from 16 and Pregnant and going with a Halloween Costume Party since its the week before Halloween (no scary costumes though since there will be babies galore). I've been brainstorming ideas for his costume. I was going to go with the obvious - a puppy costume we had from last year but I kinda want to save it for the actual trick or treating day.
Anyways, I was at Walgreens and found a Mini Chicago Cubs Baseball and Bat Set - then I realized the kid has a TON of Cubs outfits that look like mini uniforms! THEN I got DH to agree to be a big Cubs player! I'm so excited!

I can't wait until I can have a Dodgers' themed b-day party for our future son (or daughter, doesn't matter). 95% of our friends and family are fans so everyone has something to wear
My best friends wanted that to be the babyshower theme.....LOL (sorry to ramble in your post).
Haha Our family baby shower was basically a Cubs baby shower with a side of puppy theme. He got about a thousand Cubs onesies/Cubbie paraphernalia, even a Cubs sippy cup!
And Karrey - if DH ever behaved like that douchey Ryan he'd be out the front door.

Rachel, that's a great idea! And on a side note, I'll be seeing your team play next month! (please don't comment on FB though, that's the surprise for DH)
Oh I'm hoping to keep it way low budget but honestly, it doesn't matter how much you spend as long as Evan's having fun!
