If anyone in NC can foster a dog...
He is in Carteret County, NC, and my contact at Labs4Rescue (a lab rescue in New England) is trying to get him out of the shelter. Basically he needs a foster home for two weeks before a commercial transport OR a foster home until he gets adopted. I can go get him and take him to the transport, but I can't foster. If anyone is interested in fostering, I can get you more details - jendusk at yahoo dot com. Thank you for reading!
They said that Kolby liked children and other dogs. He did VERY well on his temperament test and showed absolutely no aggression towards cats, dogs or people. He does not know toys unfortunately and he is not food aggressive. As we walked past all the kennels, he went to each one to greet each dog, even if they obviously did not like it. He just stayed calm and walked on with his tail wagging. He underestands Sit and Down and has a very gentle and sweet disposition. He is very adoptable and will make someone a great pet if given the chance. Please RESCUE KOLBY ASAP!
Re: If anyone in NC can foster a dog...
How old is he, out of curiosity?
We'd might be able to foster, but he's a good 3.5 hours away. Is there any way to get him near Raleigh?
