How was your weekend?
Ours was nice and slow!! 
Friday night we hung out with our friend who's wife and newborn daughter are out of town. So we basically just distracted him for a little bit. 
Saturday; Nothing! Literally. Took a nap and then got ready for our double date. We were going to go to a wine bar in the Washington Square Park area but there was a 90min wait!! So we went to a really yummy burger place instead. Then walked to Union Square and had dessert at Max Brenner. Yum!!
Sunday; nothing again!! More napping. Then i had dinner with 2 girlfriends. We went to the Shake Shack on the UWS but then sat by the Museum of Natural History and ate and chatted. It was nice!!
Re: How was your weekend?
My weekend was nice 'til last night...
Sat I went to a friend BBQ and yesterday I sent DH to his Uncle's surprise b-day party by himself 'cause I wasn't feeling well. I get a call a few hours later from DH telling me his dad was rushed to the ER 'cause he was having difficulty breathing (he's been having issues...he's a heavy smoker). So, today the CAT scan states he has fluid, along with a tumor and a black spot on his lungs. I don't know how well his prognosis is going to be, but I feel really bad for my husband 'cause he's really upset about it (I don't blame him of course...I would feel the same way if it was my dad). Please keep my FIL in your thoughts and prayers.
My weekend was irie (LOL) once again. No fun events just home projects and window-car-shopping (kinda fun!)
Bonnie, I am sorry about your FIL. Hope he will be ok.
