As a result of these updates, members of the Nest Community will need to change their password in order to continue participating in the community. In addition, The Nest community member's avatars will be replaced with generic default avatars. If you wish to revert to your original avatar, you will need to re-upload it via The Nest.

I am so sad.
Remember the pic I showed you guys of the birds nest? Well the fern fell yesterday from the storms and all but one egg broke. I put the egg back in the nest and we hung the fern back up this morning. I don't know if the Momma and Papa bird will come back for the one, but I hope they do. I am so sad for them.

Hopefully the parents will come back! The wind was wicked crazy here yesterday. One minute it'd be calm and then I felt like there was a tornado outside (Probably didn't help that I had our windows open since we're trying to save on AC so our curtains and blinds were flying Ha!)
I'll keep my fingers crossed for the little birdy. If you dont see the parents come back at some point could you take the egg to a bird rescue?? (I have no idea what the process is for this situation)

Squeesh, I totally feel you. I'd be heartbroken as well. Hopefully the mama and papa bird will come back and take care of their last egg.
