what is everyone doing for the holiday weekend?

I have friends coming in to town from all over and we are driving to Savannah. We are pretty excited. It is a reunion of sorts and we have not all been in the same place at the same time in a long time. How about you guys? What is up for this weekend?

Saturday I have a midterm, so I'll be preparing for that Friday night and up until test time. Then I have a huge paper due on Monday, so that will consume Sunday. But Monday, we are going to a friend's bbq competition! Can't wait!

Celebrating my exam results and going camping out the MotoX track. We have not been on a bike since DH broke his collar bone and had a plate put in about 8 weeks ago... so we have been dying to get back on our bikes.

Going to my parent's beach house for a bachelorette party. It should be fun, it's for a good friend of mine from high school and another good friend will be flying in from Houston and staying w/ me before/after the beach. It's been years since the 3 of us got to hang out together, so I'm looking forward to it!

Birthday Festivities, I have three cousins that are about 3 days apart and we've had one party for all three every year. Other than that, not really much planned.

Heading to Emerald Isle on Friday through Tuesday. I'm hoping for lots of sun! The inlaws have a place there and a few of our friends will be down as well.

It sounds like most everyone has some good plans! That's really nice.

Saturday I do have to work, but DH and I hope to get in at least one last weekend of strawberry picking before the plants go bust.

Sunday and/or Monday we're hoping to go tubing down the Dan river--it's one of my favorite summer things to do around here. It might be chilly though, with all this rain, so if we don't, then we'll probably just end up cooking out with some friends.
