One of my FB "friends" had her baby one month ago today and I still am in shock.
"Michael Elliot made his appearance at 2:16 am Saturday April 24th. He was 11 lbs 5 oz and 21 1/12 inches."
Yes you read that right... he's HUGE. And she did it without drugs, 2 1/2 weeks past her due date, vaginally (she belongs to my old church, so they are anti-medications, anti-doctor even. She had him at a birthing center with a midwife only.)
Every time I see a post on FB, or another picture, I just
. It makes me not want to have kids because he's ENORMOUS. There was a picture of him (~week old) next to a 4-month old and he's BIGGER THAN THE 4-MONTH OLD!
I figured you guys would understand... my husband gave an initial "Wow... ouch" and dropped it.
Re: I just have to share this.
I was 9lbs 10 oz, my sister was 10lbs 6oz, and my brother weighed in at 11lbs 3oz...and my mom did is all vaginally but with drugs. Don't know how she did it or how your friend did it either!
And that kid came out weighing as much as a typical 2 or 3 month old. YIKES!
