House? (spoilers)
I just watched the season finale last night. Thoughts? I'm not sure how I feel about House and Cuddy as a long term item, but I'm ok with what happened. And I was done with Lucas. I thought he was a tool . . . he was a great character when he was House's employee but otherwise meh. But I'm glad that after "losing" Wilson, House did not continue to get sh*t on by the world.
I liked the rest of the episode too. I got choked up when he was convincing the women to get the amputation. I hate how the characters before his season would say "House is a jerk" in the same breath as "he should stop taking vicodin". So it was sad to hear him talk about how his pain has ruined his life. And then I totally cried when the woman died. That look he gets on his face when he realizes there's absolutely nothing he can do is heart wrenching.
In conclusion, Hugh Laurie is such a good actor. That moment when he was on the bathroom floor, his hands shaking to get open the pill bottle, and then he looks up at Cuddy . . . Perfection. Can't wait for next season.
