Dude... long day
Not many answers, but I will update what I know as of now.
We have 3 scenarios at this point. I saw the Dr, who sent me for a u/s and labs. The u/s didn't show anything in my uterus, but a fluid filled something in my right fallopian tube. So,
Scenario #1) I am not far enough along in the pregnancy to see the sac, and the thing in my tube is a corpus luteum cyst that will resolve on its own
#2) The spotting/bleeding/cramping I have been having was a m/c, and the tube thing will resolve on its own
#3) I am pregnant, but the thing in my tube is the baby and I have an ectopic pregnancy, which means surgery Friday
When I got home a few minutes ago, the nurse had called with my Hcg level. It is at 179, which is not very high. Especially considering I have not had sexy time for 3-4 weeks, and that is when I would have conceived; something even tiny would be visible at 5-6 weeks. So Weds I go in for another hcg test. If my numbers double or better, great news, pregnant, start progesterone and repeat the u/s in a couple of weeks. If they increase slightly, then it confirms the ectopic. And then obviously if they drop it confirms a m/c. So, I still have a little more waiting to do.
As optimistic as I WANT to be, I am pretty certain I am dealing with a m/c or ectopic, based on the bleeding and cramping.
This REALLY sucks.
Thank you all for your thoughts, prayers and support! I will continue to keep you updated ![]()
