Keeping pests out of strawberry patch
We have a good sized strawberry patch that has a short fence around it but obviously that is not keeping the critters out. Yesterday we found most of the ripe berries had bites taken out of them.
I'm guessing it's bunnies, maybe birds. I never see squirrels or deer around. Anyway, what is the best way to (humanely) deter whatever it is?

Re: Keeping pests out of strawberry patch
You could try some netting (sorry I don't know what it is called.) My mama uses it around her raised beds and my grandma puts it over her hostas to protect them from the deer. They usually use the green netting and give it enough room to let the plants push it up and out for when they are growing. This website shows what I am talking about!
