((I know the weekend is not quite over yet but..)) How was everyone's weekend??
Friday night we went out to dinner with Kevin's younger brother. He is going to Haiti for a 10 day trip. He just finished school to be a mason, so he is supposed to help rebuild some things. Yesterday my little sister came for a visit because Kevin went to see some college buddies. I am having a tough time adjusting to the heat here - it just came on so suddenly. Last weekend it was like mid 50s and now its like 80s and HUMID. Hello, cold showers!

Re: Weekend...
Our weekend was pretty good.
Friday night we played poker and I won a little bit.
Saturday we had a lazy morning and then went to friend's for a birthday BBQ in the evening. it was a lot of fun!
Today I have been pretty lazy as well. I did a little bit of housework and ran some errands, but otherwise I am sitting here in the air conditioned comfort of my living room, watching movies and Project Runway reruns on TV.
My weekend was good. My sister graduated medical school so we drove up Friday and spent the night since her graduation was so early in the morning on Saturday. Declinn met my uncle and aunt for the first time. I can't believe my sister is a doctor! Saturday evening we went to my neice's dance recital. I love going to her recitals they are so cute. It was long and hot (the auditorium it was in did not have any air). It was cruel and unusual if you ask me, especially since it was 98 on Saturday.
Sunday, we didn't do anything. I slept until around 1 with Declinn and just spent time with her.
I am back to work today and hating it. I want to be home with my little girl. Scott said he would find another job that paid more so that I could stay home, and I told him no. He is trying to get into the police academy and we should start getting his pension from the army starting next year. That is when I can quit my job, but not until then. I'm hoping everything works out the way we want!
Oh Kelly - she is so beautiful, I can see why it is hard to leave her! I won't be staying home either and that definitely makes things more complicated.
I told work today about the baby and everyone's been really supportive so far, so that is good. I've only been here for about a month and a half, so i was really nervous that they might be upset about it. I'm glad it went well.
Glad everyone had a good weekend!! Mine was super busy.
Saturday my bff & I drove over to my new house. I had to order appliances at the local lowes. We ended spending way more time over there then I was wanting to.. on our way home i found out my dad cut his eye w/ a piece of tile so i turned around and went back to the hospital he was @. -- it was nothing serious but i wanted to make sure he was okay.
Yesterday was a complete bust. I got up at 9. took Diva to petsmart to get her hair cut & nails trimmed...picked up some groceries.. took Wyatt to petsmart to get his nails trimmed...forgot his rabies certificate, had to take him back home, my dad called me; chris left his phone in the back of my dads truck, drove to orlando to get his phone..got home at 8pm.. ugh. the day was a total flop. i did get all of our laundry washed & dried.. folded is another story.
So great to hear what everyone is up to!
Kelly - you have such a gorgeous baby girl!!
We had a busy weekend, and it is SO hot and humid here. Ug, it shouldn't hit almost 90 in May in Minnesota. We're busy getting ready for SIL's wedding this weekend, so my list of errands as MOH is rather long. I'll have to post some wedding pics next week, in honor of of our knot days:)
Well our days revolve around the hockey games these days. Its a HUGE deal that Chicago is going to the stanley cup. DH is unbelievably excited. Friday we watched the game and had people over. Saturday we lounged around and then had our neighbors suprise bday party at night. Sunday we had people over again for the game and BBQ'd.
