I, for one, am loving this weather. Last year we only had one day above 85 (and it was in July)... I think we're due for a nice, warm summer!

I haven't been feelin' the board lately. I'm trying to limit my computer time. Mere gets more fun by the day and I feel guilty being on the computer when she's awake.
I think that would have been the day Brian and I had tickets to the Tigers game.
(that is what I looked like due to the heat and then being mad when Brian wanted to stay for the extra innings)
Minus the really chilly, rainy days, I actually was very happy with last summer.

Hello ladies! I've been in vacation mode. We took an extra long weekend. I had Friday and today off. Now I don't want to go back to work. We didn't get nearly the amount of stuff done we wanted to around the house/yard. We did have a ton of fun with Brielle though.
I'm o.k. with the hot weather. I would like it to be upper 70's with low humidity but I'll take what I can get. It is helpful that we have central air. I'm sure my tune would change if we didn't. LOL!

This is me, too. Ben has gotten to the uber clingy phase where he whines if he doesn't have my undivided attention ALL DAY too.
But this heat is making it hard to do many outside activities with a toddler. 10 minutes of him running around and he is sweating and exhausted!

But here's another: I think I have pneunomia. Going to the docs tomorrow.
We're doing all right with the heat, but only because I caved and turned the air on yesterday. Glad I did - the cottonwoods are flying and my allergies wouldn't have been able to handle it.

GRSP - *fingers crossed* it's not pneumonia. Get well soon whatever it is. Side note: When I type "pneumonia" I pronounce it in my head "puh-neigh-ooo-moan-yuh" but I say it correctly. :-P
Oh man, I TOTALLY know how you feel. I work in the flower biz, and we're soooooo busy with this warm weather that I've been working 12+ hours a day for the past 6 weeks (plus Saturdays). I can't remember the last time I left work right at 5:00.
I like it, too.
I will agree that it did come on rather quickly and feels more like August than May or June.
The one thing that can always be counted on is that Michiganians will always complain about their weather
So true. I will be the first to complain about snow. Every single year. But I am LOVING the HOT weather. Keep it coming.
I was one of the people who was a little diappointed last year with all of the cooler temps. I don't think I whined too much, but I was definitey bummed that was our "summer". In some ways it was really nice. In other ways I felt like we got ripped off.
This year, woofie, it got hot on us really fast. That kind of jump is hard for my body to adjust to right now. We turned the a/c on last Friday. No way this pregnant lady is suffering through 80-degree temps if I don't have to. It looks like by the weekend the temps simmer down a bit and will be a bit more tolerable.
OH. Never seen it.
