First Thursday question
I've only been once, but it was more of eating dinner and leaving because we went with my ILs. Is this something you guys would recommend going to do, or not so much? And where do you go to get information about it? All I can seem to find online is information on past years and nothing current.

I'm in the not so much camp. I liked it years ago, but a lot of my favorite places in SoCo have closed. I know non-SoCo galleries used to have First Thursday events, but again, all the ones I used to go to are now closed. The last time I went, it was just crowded and none of the shops did anything special like they used to. I'd stay home and visit another time.

Agreed. The knick-knack jewelry shopping from small vendors can be fun, but there are less crowded places and times to visit the same type of vendors. The music isn't a focused as it used to be, and it's super crowded. I like SoCo on a Saturday afternoon much better.
