I think we've done something like this before...
What kind of car do you drive? Do you like it?
If you could get a new car what would you get?
This is a completely self-serving poll, since we're looking to get a new car! We have a Honda Accord, but I haven't driven regularly for the last couple years. We're thinking of getting one of the crossover SUVs, we really like the Nissan Rogue.

Re: Car Poll
I think we've done something like this before...
What kind of car do you drive? Do you like it? 2010 Honda CRV and I love it. I just got it a few months ago. My H just bought a 2010 Acrua TSX and he loves that too!
If you could get a new car what would you get? The CRV was not my first choice. The Acrua RDX was, but it was a little too pricey for me. I'd rather spend money on my house than my car!
Good luck! Let us know what you end up with.
What kind of car do you drive? I drive a 09' toyota matrix 4wd.
Do you like it? I LOVE IT!!! I was just thinking this morning how much I love it lol. It does pretty well on gas, is great in the snow, and has room for when we're picking up big items. We had a toyota yaris beforehand and it was great on gas but it was too small and horrid in the snow!
If you could get a new car what would you get? I honestly don't think I would get anything else..maybe the toyota venza but only because it looks nice.
Good luck with your car search!
I have a 2006 Ford Escape and DH has a 2006 VW Jetta GLI. My car serves its purpose and has been good to me so far. DH loves his car.
I really want a crossover - the Chevy Traverse is supposed to be excellent. I *really* want a Honda Pilot, but I think it's too big for our garage and we don't really need a car that big yet. That's going to be my mom car when we have all our kids and need the space.
I have a 2008 Honda Civic. I like it a lot. I had a Honda Accord previously but totaled it in an accident
I didn't want to shell out the money for another Accord at that point, so I "downgraded" to the Civic. It is a little smaller but otherwise very similar to the Accord I think. I like the way it drives, I don't know it just feels right to me. DH wishes I would have chosen something even less expensive but I wasn't comfortable with any of the other ones we test drove.
I hope I never have to shop for a new car again, haha. It is one of my least favorite things to do. DH wants a truck when his car finally craps out, so I will just let him shop for that on his own.
What kind of car do you drive? Do you like it?
We have a Honda CRV (what I drive) and a Honda Accord (DH). I love both!
If you could get a new car what would you get?
I was talking to DH about this because I keep seeing great deals out there but I think we like Honda's for the most part... I see a Subaru in our future at some point. DH thinks he's getting a truck. I don't agree!
I have a 2008 Acura RDX. I love this car. We got a good deal on it Labor Day weekend of 2008 when they were trying to clean off the lot. It cost about $2k more than a CRV would have cost.
I also loved the VW Tiguan, but it was first year out and $$$ for us, so we passed. It was a lot of fun to drive though.
DH just got a 2010 Infiniti G37. I can't say I am impressed with the Infiniti company itself, but the car is fun to drive and very nice. I would have rather he went with the BMW but this is what he wanted.
I have a 2004 Pontiac Vibe, AWD, which I love. It's a great car, mileage isn't bad for its size, it's big enough to fit stuff but small enough to be manageable.
DH drives a 1998 2 door Saturn sport coupe thing. I don't really like it, he likes that its gets above 40mpg. But it doesn't fit anything, it's even difficult for people to get into, and it's not in good condition anymore. We're going to try to pay off my car (4 more payments!!) and then start looking for something new for him.?
We'd like a hybrid, but we're wary of Toyotas right now. That's probably unnecessary, so we'll look into a Prius. There was also some Honda or Hyundai hybrid that DH was interested in. He's obsessed with getting a car solely for its mileage, but we'll potentially be carting around 2 kids and some pets in this car, so I keep reminding him we need something roomy. And my mom witnessed a very bad car accident a couple weeks ago (it was on her lawn) involving an old CRV and a new Nissan Rogue. The Rogue hit a telephone pole and was ridiculously smashed up, but all 4 people riding in that car walked away from the accident with nothing more than some cuts and bruises. it's designed so that the front end drops down to absorb all of the shock from the impact and won't transfer it to the passengers. So we might look into that car.?
I have a 2006 Corolla, and I LOVE LOVE LOVE it. It is the perfect size- not too big to maneuver into tiny parking spaces, and not to small for lots and lots and lots of stuff. Three people can sit comfortably in my backseat, and my trunk is HUGE. It gets 40mpg, and still has enough "pick up" to deal with Atlanta traffic. I am actually in a war with DH over it because he wants me to sell it since we live in the city now and "don't need it." But then I will have no place for my car stereo.
DH had a Mazda 3 until we moved here in Jan, and he sold it to his parents. I drive it when we are visiting. It's a nice car, but the backseat and trunk are teeny-tiny, and I wouldn't say it's a car that makes me feel particularly safe. Maybe it's just DH's driving... :P
If I got a new car, it would be the Lexus RX. It's about as long as my Corolla (Lola, as I call her), just taller by about 6-8 inches. And I'm all about riding in style! I have actually considering using the Lexus as a bargaining point with DH- If I let him sell my car, he has to PROMISE to get me the Lexus when we leave Boston, or something. But I just can't give up my car.

I drive a chevy cobalt and I really like it, it's small so I feel like it fits me perfectly.
I used to drive a honda accord and I loved it, I've wanted another honda since but the prices were out of our budget when we bought the cobalt. If I could get a new car right now, I'd want the honda crv.
