I've had a few favorites. I volunteered for the local Children's Hospital for about 3 years (that place is amazing if you ever need a kid hospital). I was very involved with the Leukemia and Lymphoma society when I did concurrent Team in Training programs. I've been a Habitat for Humaity volunteer for almost 10 years. And since we got our dog at the Humane Society, MH and I do some fundraising work for them every year.

Ecclectic...we just use things we love and/or things that were given to us. We love color and it's reflected in every part of our home.
The kitchen has a slightly retro vibe with lots of red and cherry (teh fruit) decor.
The bedroom has a tropical feel with browns, aquas and orange predominantly and dark wood. The bathroom echos this design with a little more whimsy thrown in...
The nursery is a vintage feel with a shabby chic vibe...pink, pale aqua, apple green, mixed print fabrics, vintage lamps and figurines, etc.
Our living room/dining room is grounded in gold, red and black with pops of teal. We have a lot of asian-inspired art work and decorative items.

What's one of your favorite memories from your wedding? So many... it would take pages to explain. I'll keep it short and go with an easy one. A horse came galloping down the beach. It was gorgeous. The rider was nice. We joked about the horse getting married. We handed him the veil to put on the horse. (for those of you who know how easily horses are spooked, you can guess what happened next). The horse took off full speed. Our photographer ducked and covered. It was hilarious.

I give to small local things Slippahs, that gives shoes to kids in Hawaii, my area youth organizations and animal shelters. I also give to big ones like American Cancer Society, American Lung, Children's Leukemia... most of them in the medical/life science realm.
