My Tuesday is terrific because last night I won 4 Cricut carts and Design Studio for next to nothing. Now I have my eye on Cricut Cake--we'll see if I win one of those this weekend. Also terrific because there's a new episode of Glee on this evening...very exciting.
What's going on with everyone else?

Re: Terrific Tuesday!
Feeling hopeful today. DH and I made the decision to go look at kittens this weekend. We figured that our house is going to feel palpably sad until the energy void is filled, which is more of a compliment to Jericho's memory than a slight.
So Saturday around lunchtime, we're going kitten hunting! I've spent pretty much the whole morning looking at potential name ideas...

I left early this morning so I could stop and get my car emissions inspection on my way to work - fully expecting that I would still be late anyway. I dropped my car at the gas station and walked next door to get coffee - by the time I got back my car was done and waiting! 10 minutes tops. Best car inspection EVER.
Of course, now that I'm at work, the day is dragging...
Okay, first off, kitten hunting sounds wonderful! I want a kittee so bad, but just like everything else, I have to wait until we get a house. I hope you find one that warms your soul!
I'm not too bad off today, other than butt-ache from doing weights yesterday. I have to work at noon, but the day should go pretty smoothly. At least this shift is drama free!
Have a great day!
My experiment worked! WOOT! Right before my progress meeting. PERFECT! (ok, well only half of it worked, but I'm still happy nonetheless).
And once I have my meeting today, I'm going to be un-stressed the next 4 weeks... until the next meeting haha
Well my Tuesday is terrific now. DH and I just got home from the emergency room. He was having chest pains last night and then decided to tell me he had been having them for the last week. He woke up this morning, still having them. So we went to the hospital. Everything checked out fine, and they gave him some meds for "acid reflux" or however you spell it. He has to go back on Saturday for blood work just to make sure, then again in 2 weeks for a follow up. Last night and this morning was not fun considering if DH ever had/has a heart attack he will lose his medical certificate and will lose his job (pilot). DH was really upset, I just kept telling him to not draw conclusions and go to the doctor. But then last night when he fell asleep I started to think about what would happen if he couldn't work anymore etc.......so I didn't sleep so well. BUT everything is good, time to drink some wine and take a nap.
Glad you ladies are having a terrific tuesday! Yay to kitty shopping and successful experiments!
Omg, I can't even imagine how scary that must have been. Keeping my fingers crossed that it's nothing serious!

Hah! DH won't LET me hold the cats that are up for adoption - he's afraid we'll go home with one. So I sneak over to PetSmart when he's not with me and do it. ;-)
And Kristina, SOOO glad your DH is okay! That's so scary! Are his BP/cholesterol etc. all in healthy ranges?

Thanks! We still have one kitty and our apartment complex doesn't allow more than two, so we can't get a pair, even though (DH thinks) we have some great paired names picked out. We're going to the same shelter where we got our current kitty and I'm sooo excited.
Also, look who just made silver!

OH MAN I talk way too much.....lol....I didn't even notice the silver status. Give me my silver medal!
That will be nice for both cats to have each others company. What are some of the names you came up with???
Oh ya Katie, I love ALL of the animals and I have to pet each and every one of them etc. Turns into a 2 hour visit... My mom and I have adopted 2 dogs and a cat from Petsmart (different shelters). I love that place!
And DH's blood pressure was good, the nurse actually said it was "awesome". He has to go back on Saturday to get a lipid panel (blood work) done to check everything else. I'm sure everything is fine, it was just kind of a rude wake up call for both of us.
We can't agree on any names at all right now. The paired names that aren't happening are Mason & Dixon or Castor & Pollux. I like Beau, Jasper, and Toulouse a lot, but DH is suggesting silly things like Lothar, Zinedine, and Dread Pirate Roberts. It usually takes us a while to come up with a good name we both like.
Good. I'm glad his blood pressure isn't an issue. Better to get a wake up call now than when it's too late, I think.

@Cipolla, Glad your hubby is ok and that they think it's just gastric related. Lots of people who come to our unit with chest pains actually end up with it being something not cardiac related.
@Reine, I'm glad you guys have decided to possibly get another kitty. I think that when you lose a pet that pet always stays in your heart even when the decision to get another comes up. It's not a replacement but rather a tribute in a way. Rather then saying I will never get another pet it's like I loved that pet so much and it really made me love cats/dogs/iguanas so much that i'll never be without one.
@Everyone else, it's one more day closer to Friday. So hang in there, or continue to rock your day.
For me it's a twisty Tuesday. Good because I got to sleep in, got some chores done and I am still relishing in the memory of putting in a solid game of laser tag where I got hit 17 times but hit others 34 times!!! However I do have to go to work in like an hour and a bit and I'm sure it's going to be less then awesome!
