so talk to me about NC water,
I am noticing red rings in the toilet, and red deposit on shower heads. Is it just me, or is this water contaminated? I'm guessing it's mineral deposit, correct me if I'm wrong.
TIA!
Re: so talk to me about NC water,
It is. My parents farm house is horrible with this. They water is so hard with minerals and what not that I can't stand the taste of it.
It also happens here with city water if we don't clean the toilets every once in a while.
I've heard that if you install a water softener, that'll fix the problem. We get the rings in the sinks and showers too, it's annoying, but fixable most of the time
)
well I'm glad it's fixable! I can't stand seeing that red deposit especially in the toilet, I had never had to clean a toilet bowl every 3 days.lol.
Thank you for the tip though!
Yeah cleaning it is easy, since it is mineral deposit. Cleaning it constantly was weird, I didn't have this issue in MA and since I normally drink tap water I was concerend that I would get sick or something.
IF you get those toilet cleaner things. . (the kind that attach to the side of the bowl) it reduces the problem. . at least that's what I've been told.
I feel gross now. . too much potty talk Hah
My parents had this problem at one time also, due to hard water. There is a cleaner called Iron Out that will take away the stains.
Wow, Thank you! That atleast can direct me to what is causing the red rings and red deposit.
