visiting this weekend
We've never been to Baton Rouge but are coming on Sunday to see Kenny Chesney, etc. We don't plan to tailgate but would like to find a nearby sports bar to hang out at during the day and possibly park at during the concert; preferably walking distance up to a mile. Can you recommend any places for us? Thanks!

Ditto Cissy.. There is also Serrano's at the North Gate of Campus but it is a Mexican restaurant not a sports bar.. they do serve drinks and if you are in the mood for Mexican it is a good spot...
So jealous of all you concert goers! Ditto the other girls. Chimes, Walk-on's, Serrano's...all great choices. The entire area around the North Gates/Chimes Street has a couple different bars that I'm sure will be packed.
