Ben lost his cell phone a couple of days ago. The battery was dead so we couldn't call it to find where it was, although we knew it was somewhere in the house.
I just did a load of laundry and heard something clunking around (it's a front loader - can't open it once you start the wash cycle).
Cell phone is now very, very clean.
And very, very dead.

I did that last year
Since my contract wasn't anywhere near upgrade level, I just went on ebay and found a used phone that was the same as mine. Managed to salvage my sim card though.

I managed to drop my iphone into a bowl of potato salad. That made me feel good about myself!
Don't worry, if YH is anything like mine, he'll miss the phone but also be excited about having a valid excuse to buy a new gadget.

Heh we would, but phone plans are a LOT different in Australia...we'd have to pay like $600 per phone to buy them and then data plans are $$$.
