Oklahoma disgusts me

with their ongoing abortion laws.

The most recent bill mandates women complete a 38-question form, which includes multiple subsections, answering questions about their race, education, income, relationships and reasons for seeking an abortion

Roe v. Wade protects a womans right to privacy in the first trimester.  Way to continue wasting tax payers money for something that will ultimately end up in court.

I know its a hot topic but I've kinda had it with the government and their invasion of privacy lately.

  • I don't see why any of those questions are relevant to getting an abortion. I'm really starting to wonder if states are passing these ridiculous laws because they feel the federal government is overreaching and their responses are "Oh yeah....well, we're going to do this and you can't trample on our state's rights!".

It's so hypocritical. These people have no guiding principles. They just want what they want . . . which is to control women. It's sickening.  It's my f*cking body, leave it alone.

  • The Gov. is vetoing these bills because they are an invasion of privacy it's the state house/senate that is overriding his vetoes.

The other one that they passed: A Dr. does not have to tell you that your child will have serious physical issues if they believe that you will abort it.  Oh and you can't sue the Dr. for it either.

OMG. Wow.  That's, just, well, shocking.  This makes me mad and really sad at the same time.

And I'm sure all these people will be lining up to help the mother after the baby is born . . .

    Or not.

No they'll be busy creating another questionnaire of irrelevant information for the families to get medicaid and assistance to care for the child. B@st@rds!
