Vet Recs in North Fort Worth/Keller area
Hi everyone! DH and I are looking to adopt a couple of dogs in the next couple of weeks and were wondering if anyone could give us some good Vet recommendations in the Keller area.
Thanks!
Re: Vet Recs in North Fort Worth/Keller area
We go here and really like everyone there. We've been going since they opened a couple years ago.

I go to a Vet in Bedford called Advanced Animal Care Center. I love them and they've been dealing with Tootsie since she was 8 weeks old and were there when she electrocuted herself and when she was diagnosed with Epilepsy last year. They all know her by name and I would recommend them to anybody.
Thanks so much everyone!!!
One more question for you all - any recommendations on pet sitters or kennels? When we go out of town for a day or so we have neighbors & friends who can help watch the dogs, but when we go for a week or so we'll need to take the dogs somewhere.
I love my vet Rickords Animal Hospital. He is super friendly and the staff is very helpful.
I'm not sure about a sitter.
I saw that the Petco in Watauga is having an animal adoption weekend yesterday and today. It is off 377 near Target.
HTH!
When I lived in that area, I used dogs unleashed daycare. Small establishment, but they are super nice, get to know your dog well and really take care of them. Lots of play time! I think close to golden triangle and 35 area.

Thanks again everyone!
We ended up adopting an adorable 3 1/2 month old black lab from some people that were going to take him to a shelter. We ended up using banfield at Petsmart at 35 & Heritage Trace because he started getting sick the day after we brought him home. Unfortunately he tested positive for parvo, but the good news is that we were lucky enough to catch it right away and the vets at Banfield were a huge help. It's only been a few days, but Sydney is now eating and drinking on his own and is starting to get puppy playful again.
I would do a PIP, but couldn't figure it out. I did post a couple photos to my profile though!
