Updata on the interview
So yesterday morning DH and I drove to Plano, the interview was at 12:30. There was a plan of 3 interviewing me. The suprvisor for the position was a really nice guy, I think I did very well in most of the technical questions, there were two technical questions about subjects that I had no experience in, and I was honest that I don't have any experience in. So I hope my honesty won't hurt me in this process.
There were generic interview questions, such as why do you want to work here, what are your strengths and weaknesses, ... I think I did well on those without sounding rehearsed.
They will be calling next week to let me know if I get a second interview or not.

Good luck! Sounds like you did great. I definitely believe honesty is the best policy. Interviewers do not like to hear bullsh!t explanations. You demonstrated your strengths in the areas you do have experience in, and I'm sure that shows your intelligence, and ability to learn.
