I almost never cook fresh seafood at home. Sure, I'll use a bag of frozen shrimp, but I don't cook or grill fish at all.
I'm branching out and trying something new, so where you do buy your fresh seafood? The seafood counter at your grocery store? Central Market? Other?
I really have no idea if different places have different quality when it comes to fresh seafood!
Re: Fresh Seafood?
i'm close to downtown, so i go to whole foods. the people behind the counter are always very patient with me since i know nothing about seafood or how to cook it. they've always given me great advice!
i have done crab legs from HEB before and they were fine (ok, i ate 2 lbs by myself).

Haha - if you had to shop at the HEB near my house, you probably wouldn't buy the fish
. I'm pretty sure our "neighborhood HEB" is the last truck on all the routes. we get the worst of the produce, fish, etc.
