I need an audio book for the road trip to Kentucky over the weekend. I can't keep listening to Twilight or Pride/Prejudice.... DH makes fun of me.
I'll definitely look into the podcasts that were mentioned earlier... but does anyone have any book reccomendations?
Re: Recommend Book
Eat, Pray, Love by Elizabeth Gilbert. They are making it into a movie and I think it's supposed to come out this summer (starring Julia Roberts). I really enjoyed reading that book.
MY BLOG!
What about a John Grisham novel? I really want to pick up the Harry Potter audiobooks, but I haven't yet. I wonder if anyone would say anything if I listened to them at work.
Safe travels to Kentucky!
If you like mystery/action/suspense/crime drama I recommend Vince Flynn or David Baldacci. Both authors are people my DH introduced me to (I read voraciously and it was inevitable that I'd wander into DH's books when I ran out of reading material). I could see that being very entertaining for both of you.
My mom is into the series First Women's Detective Agency. It is all about this woman private investigator in an African country that is escaping my memory right now and she solves all sorts of little mystery crimes. My mom said they're super good.
Oh, I'm on it. I only check out audiobooks from the library - I don't buy them.
Thanks for the suggestions, ladies!!
