Re: Poll: Get together...
I'd be interested, but I voted for #3.
It depends more on where (and therefore how much time/$$) it is than when it is for me though. I don't have a packed schedule, but I don't get a lot of vaca time either, so I probably couldn't fly across the country. But if it's somewhere I could go in a weekend/long weekend, I'm in!
This.

I definitely agree with PP. I do think it would be fun, though, to meet people from our board. Too bad we all don't live within a few states of each other. Although, those of us in the midwest/Ohio valley are close enough that a few hours drive wouldn't be too bad.
I think it's a great idea.
I voted #3. I would LOVE to get together with you all, I was actually just thinking about this today, how strange it is that I feel like many of you know me better than some people I've known for years but we've never met IRL.
This year is particularly hard for me since I have very little leeway with my leave since I am saving it for my maternity leave (else I don't get paid). If it was something I could do in a weekend (or over a long weekend) I'd be totally down!

Well, where is everyone?
I may have the numbers wrong, but as far as I can remember:
Florida: 2 (soon to be one with Foto moving)
Georgia: 1
Indiana: 2
St. Louis area: 2
Chicago: 1
Maine: 1
San Fran: 3? Right?
DC: 2?
Canada: 1
Minnesota: 1
Kentucky: 1
Alaska: 1
.... does that sound about right?
I think we have two Mainers, actually. MrsMuffin and I are both from Maine.

Maybe we should start up a FB group (a private one, to keep schedule and personal info safe) where we can discuss this further?
One more person to the list...California- 1
I'm an STL'er or a NC'er.
If we plan on doing this more than once (not in the same year) we could do a Midwest, East coast, and West Coast destinations then alternate each year.
I really like this idea!
I'm pretty sure we have 3 in the San Francisco Bay Area now.
That's probably the only possibility I could swing it... my schedule is so chaotic and probably will be for the next year or two until we get our studio up and running.

Skype party in lieu of the in-person gtg? or Skype party to plan an in-person gtg?

How many people can chat on Skype at once? Is a group chat even possible?
I would totally be up for this, my main concern would be where and how much. Since I'm still unemployed at the moment (well, self employed but not making much $) I can't exactly afford to be a jet-setter. I would love to meet you ladies IRL though!
Maybe we could start a private group on Meetup??
