Ah...the college kids are home for the summer

And they are all going door to door in my neighborhood selling crap, petitioning for signatures to save the _______, asking for donations for save the _______, and telling people that their company can get us insurance money to repair our siding/roof/gutters.

I just wish that when they go door to door in a very conservative and highly senior citizen populated (original homeowners from the 50s/60s still live here) that they would take out the multiple face piercings, put on clean pants that cover their a$$ and underwear.  I know you shouldn't judge someone on their appearance, but it isn't too much to ask for someone to represent their organization in a clean and professional manner.  My plumber wore a clean uniform...the door to door kids can put on a clean shirt.

    I envy your college kids.  The college kids in my neighborhood seem to NOT go home for the summer and spend most of it vomiting in my front yard.  True story.

    Bwahaha!  Thank heavens I don't live near Iowa State's campus...the students would have to ride the drunk bus for a few miles to come and throw up on my front lawn.

    I feel this pain except I live in the area where all the college kids go to college (Berkeley/San Francisco) and so the crowd is not as conservative but I still think that looking like you took a shower and NOT looking homeless should be criteria for getting signatures on the street.

    . And to take your iPod earbuds out. I swear I try to talk to some of the college kids and they just leave them in .... So rude!
