Front door suggestions...

Last weekend we painted our front door a burgundy color to match the shutters. We couldn't decide if we wanted to paint the sidelights the same color or leave them white...so we left them white for the week to try and decide and I'm still torn either way. What do you girls think?

    I'd paint them - it just feels unbalanced against the trim - but that's just me

    paint them, like pp mentioned, it looks unbalanced.  The white just now looks odd against the siding color and the door color.

    Paint them.  It does look a little unbalanced.  I love the color though!

    I know you are going to paint them but I just thought of something else.  Don't take it the wrong way either, but if you left it, it kind of looks like you guys sprung for the "more expenseive" colored door and then decided to not pay the extra for the sidelights.

    I'd personally do it on Saturday.  Sunday it's supposed to be in the Mid 80's and Monday it looks like rain.  That way, there is enough time to dry and it'll be nice and hot on Sunday, so it should be fine on Monday.

    Yeah I was just looking at the weather and thinking the same thing. We have errands and gardening to do tomorrow so it looks like Sat will be painting day.

    Thanks for all the honest answers! It's exactly what I needed to convince myself the sidelights need to be painted :)
