Are there any AI fans out there?
I know, I'm a nerd & watch American Idol. I don't know why b/c it's not even that entertaining half the time & I fast forward thru most of it on my DVR.
Anyway, I watched the finale last night & I really thought it was a great show!! The best I've seen from them in awhile!! I especially loved that all the past winners & other contestants on the show all sang together!
and Janet Jackson was A-Mazing!

forgot to mention that Carrie Underwood is my absolute favorite (along with Daughtry, but he wasn't on there last night). She put on a great performance too!
So glad Lee won! It was a toss up for me between Lee & mama sox, but I think I liked Lee just slightly more.

I was a fair-weathered watcher this season because sometimes I had to flip the channel when I couldn't watch a horrible performance.
I do like Lee and was super-happy that he & Crystal were the final 2, but after what I thought was a crappy 3 performances on Tuesday, I am surprised he won. I almost had to turn him off during every performance this week. Sweet guy though. I loved watching his return-home footage...and I do really like him as a performer too...just not this week at all.
But I really think that Crystal is better-off not having so many AI obligations as she would've had she actually won. What can I say? I love me the hippie-chick!

I agree! He's normally pretty awesome, but I really think Crystal blew him out of the water with her performances on the last night. His were just "OK". and during the final show, you really need to be better than just OK.
I still think he deserved to win though. I think his nerves just got the best of him. I think Crystal deserved to win too. Either way, they are both going to do well!
