I'm sitting here at work with stuff to do and no desire to do it, so here's a question for everyone:
If you could have any job in the world, what would it be and why?
Re: QOTD
I'll start!
For me, it would be a federal Supreme Court judge. First of all, you're elected by the POTUS which means the leader of a major country thinks very highly of you (or at least your political beliefs lol). Second, you have to be HIGHLY intelligent to be able to interpret the law, and third, you are up there for life. Talk about job security!
Unrealistic: Creative Director for animated children's movies. I was on track to be able to get into that position and opted for another creative industry instead. I don't regret my decision, but think fondly of my time watching unreleased movies and doing dailies.
Realistic: SAHM. It's what I've wanted to do once I realized that some moms don't stay home.
I think I would be an event planner. I LOVED planning the wedding, and before that, was always in charge of lots of events in college...and loved it.
But realistically, I don't have the $$ to invest in the stuff (I would be the kind of planner that has it al in house...you come to me to rent all your linens, chairs, tables, candleabras, etc), don't want to work with cranky, b*tchy people (brides included), and don't want to have to work every Saturday (which is the main day for events).
So in a perfect world, I would do that. But alas, I'm a lowly grad student with no real life plans. :-)

Unrealistic :: SAHM. While we don't have kids yet, unless DH gets a drastic pay increase, we won't be able to afford it, anyway.
Realistic :: I loved legal assistant work, and minus the bosses I had -- I'd love to fit into a firm where my work was appreciated. Thus, what I'm looking for now!
Ahhhh! Me too (the obsession part)! I made snickerdoodle cupcakes with cinnamon vanilla buttercream frosting the other day - to die for!
Me too! I love to bake and I always tell DH that I want to have a bakery someday.
