Choc. Stains out of Clothes?

I had a piece of chocolate in my pocket that went through the dryer and melted all over my clothes. From the looks of it, I no longer have a pair of pants to wear to work (I'm wearing a staiend one today) and lost about 6 shirts.

I rewashed the load and got the chocolate out but now I have grease stains left from where the chocolate was. Anyone know how to get this out?

TIA!

Re: Choc. Stains out of Clothes?

  • My sister uses Oxy Clean on my nieces' clothes.  She always complains about them getting chocolate milk on their shirts because it is the hardest thing to get out.  I know she is always soaking their clothes in Oxy Clean.
  • Greased Lightening.  It's an everything cleaner, but works great on clothes stains too.
  • Thanks! It looks like I'll be shopping for something to wear tomorrow to work and for some stain remember!

  • You could also try Dawn dish soap, or anything that has a grease fighter in it.

  • I used Legacy of Clean multipurpose towelletes. They worked great to get my chocolate stains out of my Jeep's fabric seats and you can't even if it were ever stained! I say if you already have some prewash at home try that first and let it sit for a few min before laundering. If that doesn't work you can try the Legacy of Clean. Here's a link on where to find it if your prewash fails. Mine never does!
