Dessert! WDYT...
How does this sound for a dessert?
It's my FIL's birthday this weekend, and I'm bored with making a cake for every birthday. I want to do something different, and I want it to feel summery and light... Although this recipe is basically just flavored whip cream in a pie crust. WDYT?

But my vote is still for strawberry cheesecake.
My MIL does a "key lime" version of that. It's good...I personally prefer regular fruit pie. But the whip cream pies are yummy! Especially with the warm weather this weekend!
Now that I think about it a little more my mother used to make something like this with a graham cracker pie crust. I would recommend using a graham cracker crust instead of regular crust....but that's because I LOVED IT. Now I kinda want to make one of these!
I should have said that I also LOVE graham cracker crust. I've made a key lime bar before... maybe a layer of each?! Raspberry lime pie with graham cracker crust! YUM! Decision made.

Raspberry lime pie sounds delicious.
My mom use to make this all the time. It was piled a little higher than the picture shows. We called it Mile High Rasperry pie. so yummy!
