Recommend North End Italian!
H and I love the North End and have been to Trattoria di Monica and Giacomo's and loved them both. My mom and stepdad are coming into town this weekend for a visit and we want to introduce them to this part of town, but I'm curious if there is an even better restaurant (that might take reservations?) we can discover.
Any recommendations? (We do need to stay in the North End since we're doing the whole touristy - Duck Tour, Freedom Trail, Improv Comedy Club thing... plus Modern Pastry is a MUST.)

Totally agree!
Another of my favorites is Limoncello on North Street (just down from Paul Revere's house). For a more modern Italian, I love Prezza on Fleet Street. Right next to that is La Summa which is great for southern Italian.
