Alright biotches...I've been holding this in
I know I have vented about the crazy SIL (who I have affectionately named Bridesmaid from Hell - BFH) who is in my sister's wedding party before. I know some of you agree with me and some don't. That's all cool. I just thought, for anyone wondering what's been going down lately (and for those of you that perhaps thought *I* was the problem lol) to catch you up. Uh, yeh.
I hadn't had occassion to deal with her at all (thank gawd) for weeks and weeks and everything was going smoothly, then on a random Friday night I am home alone and my doorbell rings, I am halfway down the stairs to get it, my door flies open and in busts BFH practically foaming at the mouth...I am NOT exagerating. I run down the remaining stairs and ask her to leave. She's now in the doorway (kinda half in and half out of the house) ramming her index finger in my face yelling at me that she wants to talk to me and "we are *gonna* talk, you are *gonna* talk to me". I am now pushing on the front door, trying to close it so she is outside all the while asking her to please leave and that I have nothing to say to her, she is pushing back, finally gives it a hard enough shove that it knocks me off balance. She jumps in the foyer, then gives me a shove with both hands, knocked me back into the foyer table. Still all in my face hollering and totally out of control. I was shaking so badly (partly fear but mostly rage) that I really thought my legs were going to give out. She rants for nearly 15 minutes, I don't say a single word. At which point I calmly ask her to leave...again. When she refused, I told her that what she had just done was a criminal offense and if she didn't leave I was going to call the RCMP. She starts crying, still all fired up and lecturing me. She finally left when I simply refused to speak with her.
Nice huh? And my sis seems to thnk that it's me that is the irrational one? For the record, I haven't told anyone in the fam about it. I don't ever want my sis to know that it happened cause it would undoubtedly cause a rift on that side of her family. But, OMG...can anyone say white trash? lol

I think it's very nice that you haven't told your family about it. Nicer than she deserves.
The other stuff, there were places you could have been more flexible or were being difficult just on principle.
THIS? Is insane. Wow. Even if you had done something this would be over the top. Was she on something?

And BTW - when I read "BFH", I totally read it as "*** from hell" not "bridesmaid from hell" LOL Not intentionally, for some reason that is just what pops into my mind!
