Our tech team has launched updates to The Nest today. As a result of these updates, members of the Nest Community will need to change their password in order to continue participating in the community. In addition, The Nest community member's avatars will be replaced with generic default avatars. If you wish to revert to your original avatar, you will need to re-upload it via The Nest.

AW: Walk-thru
We had our walk-thru yesterday and it was awesome. The house looks great (I've got pictures...but they're still on my camera...they'll come off this weekend). All the appliances are hooked up and working (I checked). We went around with blue tape (painters tape) and marked up the walls that needed touch ups or repairs. Dad and Steve went through the house making a list of things that need to be repaired, but there wasn't a whole lot.
The backdoor needs to be replaced...something about the track, but the PM said he already knew that and had actually already ordered a new door which is cool. But overall nothing really major (thankfully!). I'll go back next Thursday to check on most of it (but they probably won't have the door installed yet if it's even in by then). Not super worried about that, it works but there's some problem I'm not sure about...Dad pointed it out haha.
Other than that, it was a great day and I'm so happy to see the house done!
And we figured out our mortgage, we have a tentative schedule to close but it's kinda vague - the week of the 14th, probably mid-week so that's better than being totally up in the air.
