Nothing much planned. It was announced this AM that my office is closing at 2.
Nina has chemo tomorrow, and they're opening the pool this weekend.
I fell down my stairs Tuesday night and broke my ass, so I am thinking the pool will be nice.
So we'll just stay home with the dog (she usually has a rough time after chemo) and relax. Some more spring cleaning maybe.

YAY for a long weekend! I'm looking forward to it! Joey and I are heading to the Pocono's tomorrow morning and returning on Monday...can't wait!

DH and I have nothing 'planned' per se. We were supposed to be heading to Yonkers for a BBQ tomorrow but looks like that is cancelled.
I was also planning to go to a Caribbean backyard fete on Sunday with a gal pal from Dominica but I am feeling too fat to go (it's gonna be all about short shorts and stuff).
I know I got issues but my old neighbor made some comments about how big I have gotten and it just killed my vibe. LOL but maybe if I play some good soca and bouyon music pre-party, I may go.
DH and I are thinking about buying a BBQ grill so we may invite some family over and just hang out in our backyard for the first time.
Bonnie: Dam girl, you could have given me a chance to announce our new car. LOL Thanks for your tips. We love our new car. It's black (exactly what DH wanted), basic features no limited. I am hating the payments right now...after being car payment free for so many years! LOL

I love long weekends! Jen and Bonnie, enjoy your travels! And Cyndi, sorry about your ass, and hope Nina does ok after chemo.
We're leaving for Europe next Friday (woohoo!), so we need to pack all our stuff (and Sasha's stuff, since she's staying with my parents and the ILs). We also need to clean the apt. We may go strawberry picking with my cousin, his girlfriend and her daughter on Sunday, still working out the details. On Monday, my mom is flying back from Russia and it's my grandma's birthday, so we're all going out.

Oh, we have a very busy weekend planned! DH and I really need to super clean the entire apartment and get some major spring cleaning done. All with a little baby...should be interesting! I think there is a trip to the brooklyn flea market and to Ikea also planned.
Tonight I think we're going to bed bath& beyond to buy a new steam vacuum cleaner!! and maybe try it out this weekend? haha.

The hubby is in Colorado for a wedding so I have the place to myself, which is kinda nice but I really need to clean so, that's on the agenda.
Tonight: SATC movie and dinner with the ladies who I haven't really seen since the semester began so, I'm very excited.
Tomorrow: Seeing the thesis presentations of the graduating class then a BBQ at a friends house
Sunday: Going to SI to pick up the netbook my parents got me for my Chanukah/B-day combo gift (better late than never), taking a Hoop-ilates class that my friend does in the park and then picking up the hubby from the airport
Monday: Writing my final paper of the semester. 2100 words, here I come!
