alittle workmans comp update
I called our insurance company. They said that my plan is basically set up in 3 tiers. First, full coverage. Second, 50% coverage and $500 deductible. Third, 20% coverage and $1000 deductible. The lady told meee, it should be the second tier. But when the dr's office called for tj, some guy told them it'll be third. so we'll see. I'll be happy with the second tier!
We decided for TJ to go to his last therapy session and his follow up dr's appt yesterday even though we'll prob get billed. Good thing he did. First, the therapy guy only gave tj the joint stimulation and let him leave. and said he won't bill us for that session. And second, Jackass doctor didn't see him. Another one did. Who told TJ that this injury isn't related to prior knee pain. he's going to talk to the other dr about getting this put back on workmen's comp. He said they might not pay the bills but even if we could get compensated for the month of pay. He also gave TJ their workmen's comp lady's phone number. She was out of the office yesterday. So we're waiting on a call back.
so there's still some hope I guess. TJ's thinking that it wasn't the dr's that made it sound like a preexisting condition.. but WC themselves. So hopefully the drs can change that.
He did say that TJ can go back to work full strength on tues. So his boss is seeing what next weeks work load looks like. Theres still a few things he can't do per TJ's own judgement. I told tj i dont care how mad his boss gets, do NOT push yourself!
