I had a fairly easy & uneventful pregnancy...a super easy labor and I get a colicky but oh so cute baby! I wish my poor baby didn't cry 80% of the time he's awake
Re: This is what i get...
Has he been checked for reflux? We have a friend who thought their little boy was colic and it turned out he had reflux. They got him on meds and he was a different baby in a week or so (it take a little while for the meds to work).
Sounds like you are doing all you can for the little guy. Such a good mommy!
when i mentioned reflux my pedi changed him to soy (that lasted about 4 days and i took him off bc it made him worse and constipated!) I am going to see how he does this weekend and then call another pedi on tuesday. I feel like it may be silent reflux only bc reading some info, he has a lot of hiccups, wet burps, (doesnt spit up very often), and he seems to be fine when he's drinking his bottle.. as soon as i stop he starts crying. but then again.. what do i know lol We've also been trying gripe water to calm him which helps with his hiccups.
I would definitely bring it up to your pediatrician again and again...you know your baby best. Do you follow Heir to Blair? She talks about her experience with reflux and how people told her it was colic. Present everything you're reading to your pediatrician...I feel you definitely have to be your own advocate when going to the Dr.!! Good luck!
