O.M.G. I just witnessed...
someone in the break room squirting Windex all purpose cleaner with Chlorox into their travel coffee mug and then putting it into the community dishwasher.
I was too dumbfounded to even say anything...but I will not be washing my dishes in there any longer.
ETA: Do you think I need to report this to facilities or something? Are people going to get sick?
Re: O.M.G. I just witnessed...
While this is weird, no, no one will die.
A dishwasher rinses things multiple times. The amount of cleaner on one sprayed mug is negligible.
Best sound ever: baby's heartbeat! (Heard @ 10w1d)
That is weird. Travel mugs shouldn't be washed in a DW.

Ditto-
I've made the mistake of putting them in the dw and then the gross water gets inside. Barf.
