weekend update
How was everyones holiday weekend?

Great. I did relaxed like I hadn't relaxed in years. I slept until 11:30 Saturday. 11:30. And then at 3 I took a 2 hour nap. It was great. Followed by more laying around on the couch with the hubs watching tv and movies.
Sunday, I slept in but not as late. Still good though. Then up to do some work around the house, then I threw that by the wayside and went shopping
Came home to BBQ and hang out with the fam. Then a semi-shopping trip with the girls that was cut short because of shortened store hours. Boo. But later we made up for it with a random Walmart trip. Fun times.
Monday, there was a lot more relaxing to be done. Movies and TV. Just enjoying my time off and trying not to stress about packing and our impending move. I'll get back to that this week
It was ok. I was ready to come home from the beach though. My mom was miserable because she couldnt really do much. And my brothers were getting on my ever lasting nerve. My 2 sometimes 3 brothers and DH like to gang up and mess with me all the time. Especially after drinking all day. Chaser was with his dad, so I didnt have much entertainment. DH usually is working on some man project with my brothers and he isnt really a beach person.So thankfully I will have my little guy to keep me company on the beach this weekend coming up. Plus all my female cousins will be down for my grandmothers 85th b-day party.
Also, the baby talk was at an all time high this weekend. I think DH has baby fever!!!! It was a topic of conversation most times. So it looks like September is it! DH is trying to cram as much as possible in for this summer because he knows it will be limited next year. We have 6 concerts in the month of June alone!!!! Im only going to 3 of them, but still insane!

We spent the weekend in Savannah with my parents and the ILs. We did a lot of shopping, walking and eating. It was a lot of fun and it actually made me miss living in a smaller city. The drive home was great yesterday until we got to NoVa. Then it sucked and it took us forever to get home. Blah. I'm off work today, but I'm trying to catch up on things like laundry and whatnot. I want to go back on vacation.
We worked on our house the WHOLE weekend.
Well, with a few breaks. But seriously, we got a lot done, and hopefully our house will be on the market before the end of the week!
I've done so much on it, I wonder why I didn't do some of this when I moved in! Would have made the house a lot nicer for me to live in, haha! And I painted my first interior wall all by myself, including removing wall plates and masking, so if we can sell our house and then buy a new one, I'm definitely going to paint the rooms and add some color to them.

I didn't have a big weekend. DH had to work most of the weekend. We saw Sex and the City 2 last night and then grilled out Sunday night. But the best was that Cole walked for the first time yesterday! It was so precious!
Overall, it was a great and tiring weekend. We finished the demolition of the sunroom, painted it, and have enjoyed it, too. We sit and relax on our rocking chairs and watch the hummingbirds and lizards in our backyard. We just need to find a nice comfy patio set and we're set!
Didn't really cook or do much in the kitchen either, it was a nice break from everything...it was also one of the hottest weekends - in the high 80s. I did run 7 miles yesterday while Eric biked alongside next to me, training for my next 10k next weekend!
I love long weekends like this, but I had a killer migraine last night...I even had to use Eric's oxygen tank for a little bit. I could use one more of day of vacation!!!
I had a great weekend. I had DH home since Thursday! Which is a rarety. Friday we went and saw the baby on an u/s.
Saturday we went to see our friend's new baby and told them we were pregnant. Afterward we went to the foothills to pick up our wine club shipment and they had used half wine barrels, so we picked up two for the garden. We relaxed the rest of the day.
Sunday we went to Lowes and picked up dirt and plants for my new barrels and spent the morning gardening. In the afternoon we went to a BBQ at my IL's with my family too.
Monday, DH went for a bike ride with his friend and I hung out doing laundry. I took a nap and we pretty much just hung out around the house. It was a nice relaxing weekend!
how exciting!!!!! So happy you guys were able to see him walk for the first time!

Weekend felt like it was really long, but we didn't get all our work done.
We did a lot of stuff around the house. BBQ yesterday with the in laws. I actually hung up some decorations in the house. I was soooo excited. lol
Friday, I lounged. TJ went to help set up for a cookout on sat. By the time he got home, i had just crawled into bed.
Saturday, all day cookout. afterwards, some of us went to our local bar. I probably didn't need to be there but oh well lol.
Sunday, got dragged to TJ's boss' family cookout cause TJ was asked to work the grill for him. It was awkward cause I knew no one. By the time we got home, a friend called cause him and his gf were cooking out. so we went there for the rest of the night.
monday, woke up with belly aches off and on all day. :-( But toughed it out and went to tj's grams for a cookout cause I love his family. By the time we got home and i ran to my grams for a bit, i just wanted to hit the couch!
